Local land around the proposed sites will be ruined and no longer be a rural environment for all to use - walkers and the local community use the footpaths and spaces around the village of Horningsea in particular and this will be lost to the village forever. Due to the flat nature of the proposed site the proposed structure will be visible and lit up 24 hours across the adjacent village - creating not only an eyesore but with the deliveries continuing into the night it will also impact sound and light pollution in an otherwise very quiet location - not to mention that the additional traffic and lorry deliveries will stress an already under prepared road surface.

The option to stay at existing site should be maintained. Covid may have permanently changed commuting behaviour into large population centres. The decision to build a high density residential development on the very edge of a city hemmed in by a dual carriageway and commercial development must be reevaluated.
