Please explain why you think this.

None of the above. The increase in traffic and associated noise and air pollution in a highly residential area will have a massive impact on local communities if any of these routes were chosen. The roads around Quy, Fen Ditton and Horningsea are already busy without the additional vehicles travelling to and from these works.

Option 3: New junction north side of the A14

Please explain why you think this.

While option 1b is a comparatively low impact solution which minimises the impact of new access roads and keeps the access road close to the existing and already noisy A14, it suffers from not excluding the likelihood that vehicles will choose to approach the site from either the north or south through residential areas in Waterbeach or Fen Ditton. Option 1a is less appealing as it creates the danger that large vehicles will partially block the road, waiting to turn left. But worst of all by far is option 2. High Ditch Road is wholly unsuitable for large vehicles and making it so be widening it would do enormous and totally unacceptable environmental damage.

if the development goes ahead, which will be terrible, it must have it's own junction to avoid impact on local roads, schools, pedestrians, cyclists which will be effected by the many highway movements of large vehicles visiting the site

Option 2 will lead to higher traffic use on the widened High Ditch Road. This road is already very busy being used as a rat run for traffic when children are crossing it on their way to the local Primary School. Options 1a and 1b bring too much HGV and other heavy traffic in to contact with local residents and road users creating potential dangers for cyclists and drivers. This will apply both before and during and after the construction phase.
